There's something big in preparation over here, but somehow I've let someone convince me not to talk about it right away.

So later.

Nothing here to fear
I'm just sitting around being foolish
When there is work to be done
Just a hang-up call
And the quiet breathing of our Persian
We call Cajun on a Wednesday
So we go from year to year
With secrets we've been keeping
Though you say you're not a Templar man
Seems as if we're circling
For very different reasons
But one day the eagle has to land
Out past the fountain, a left by the station
I start the day in a usual way
Then think well, why not
And stop for a coffee
And beging to recall things that you say
No one's at the door
You suggest a ghost
Perhaps a phantom I agree with this in part
Something is with us
I can't put my finger on
Is Thumbelina size 10
On a Wednesday
So we go from year to year
With secrets we've been keeping
Thought you say you're not a Templar man
You tell me to cheer up
You suspect we're oddly even
Even still the Eagle has to land
Out past the fountain, a left by the station
I start the day in a usual way
Then thing well, why not
And stop for a coffee
And begin to recall things that you say
Pluck up the courage
And snap, it's gone again
I start humming When Doves Cry
Can someone help me
I think that I'm lost here
Lost in a place called America

I am reading Tori Amos' Piece by Piece right now and I think you all should get to it. You don't even have to know her or her songs to read the book, you're going to find it quite interesting anyway. It covers a lot of topics and yes, it has a lot of Song Canvas, and yes, it will allow you to understand her songs a great deal more but put her lyrics totally aside and the book is still awesome. As in, I'll have to read at least one other time after I finish it.

That was today's book review :)

I've translated so many CUB's (for Canadian Umpire Benefit Decisions) this summer that I now know that I've worked enough hours this summer alone to be eligible for benefits this fall. This is quite funny. (Of course I'd have to prove that I'm looking for a job and available to work all term long, but still. Funny.)
